While not fully waterproof, the jacket has a durable, water-repellent finish allowing light rain to bead up and roll off. Features include zippered hand-warming pockets to keep contents secure during activity and brushed tricot chin-protector to keep the zipper from abrading chin and neck. Center front closure uses a reverse-coil zipper and is backed with a wind flap for increased water and wind protection while the adjustable drawcord hem enables wearer to cinch the waist and block a draft from entering below.
